Peridot didn't say anything. She just kind of continued to cling for a moment more, nodding. Right up until Dark Nation started licking her, anyway. At that point, she kind of just made a 'pbbth' sound, and then quietly let go so that she could pick up Pumpkin again, looking up at Rufus expectantly.
